Golden Eagle Mine Possible Sanctuary Site

VIRGINIA CITY, NV — Lacy and board members Judy Cox and Sal Cardinale recently met with representatives of the Golden Eagle Mining Company regarding their mine property located on 6-Mile Canyon in the Virginia City Area. Lacy had learned through “Weed Lady” Jean Gribbins that Golden Eagle (a Canadian-owned operation) might be interested in donating the claim for a wild horse sanctuary.

Golden Eagle enthusiastically embraced the idea and mine reps Jim McKay and Joan Reynolds are actively approaching owners of several adjacent properties to see if the owners of the mostly played-out claims might also be interested in helping such a project.

Lacy has also spoken with the American Land Conservancy to partner in the undertaking. So far, all meetings have been extremely positive and we here at Let ’em Run are excited about moving forward with the project.
