Senator Dalton?

CARSON CITY, NV — In 2002, the Democratic Party asked Lacy to run for the senate here in Nevada.

After a great deal of thought and deliberation, she determined that she would be a more effective advocate for the horses by remaining independent and working with friends in both political camps and by focusing on the horse issue alone.

We feel this is a sound decision since Lacy is still very much involved in writing and producing her music as well as working for the Let ’em Run Foundation.

She was honored, however, to have been approached by senate minority leader Dina Titus to whom we are all so very grateful for the passage of the first felony animal cruelty act here in Nevada.
