Who Is Behind This Project?

Our five-person Board of Directors are all professional business and/or entertainment people. I am a vocalist, songwriter and musician. Judy Cox is formerly the Assistant to the previous Lt. Governor for the state of Nevada. Sherri Sampson is a renowned artist and local activist. Our newest member, Betty Retzer, serves as the Secretary and Treasurer. Retired from management in the Telecommunications arena, she now spends her days interacting with her five mustangs. Finally, Jean-Marie Webster operates Wild Horses in Need, a wild horse sanctuary in Ojai, California, providing much needed support to these animals.

Roben Sellers, who serves as our Advisor, is a financial advisor to several of our area's major investment firms. Bob Retzer serves as the Resident Agent for the Let 'Em Run Foundation, as well as the Webmaster.

In addition, our nonvoting Advisory Board is made up of bankers, real estate investors, an attorney, politicians, grant writers and business people. We are working directly with the representatives from the National Historical Trust, the Nevada Lt. Governor's office, Storey County Commissioners office, leaders of the Paiute-Shoshone Tribe, the American Land Conservancy, Least Resistance Training Concepts Wild Horse Mentors, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Nevada State Prison administrators and other organizations and agencies on a number of horse projects.
